With two decades of experience as an integrative counsellor, l have had a privilege of working with adults, children and young people. Additionally, I hold a qualification as a supervisor.

I am passionate and committed to supporting my clients. I utilise different models/skills to find what best suits my client, helping them get the best out of the services I can provide. I assist my clients in forming new perspectives whilst looking to create improvements and make changes to their life. I offer a safe place to explore your feelings. I am a warm, empathic, caring, non- judgemental counsellor offering a confidential service.

I have a vast amount of experience working with Adults, learning differences, young people and children of various ages interpreting at different levels to ensure their needs are met. I provide emotional support, help you find new coping techniques, building resilience, improving self worth and confidence, problem solving solutions, improving relationships, learning to become free from self- sabotage and self destructive behaviours and thoughts.

A message to client
Reasons you may feel counselling is right for you! Sometimes in life we are presented with situations that we feel we are unable to manage or cope with. Life can throw at us some really challenging issues, this can then have a detrimental effect on your wellbeing making you feel unhappy, not good enough, unsettled and upset. This is when counselling support can help.

Initial session The first meeting is an intake assessment, this is to get to know you better and find how I can support you. We can then agree on what you want to talk about further. The counselling may be short or long term.

Qualified and experienced My approach in therapy is adaptable to suit each clients individual needs. I am skilled and qualified in person centred, psychodynamic, solution focused, Play therapy, Domestic abuse specialised and CBT.

MBACP registered Counsellor.

I have qualified at distinction level in Health and social care level 4 HNC.

I have worked in a hospice voluntary with adults & children offering group work and personal care. 

Over 20 years experience in the counselling field as a Counsellor,Clinical supervisor, family intervention and couple counselling. 

Work with Adults, Adolescents, children, families, learning differences and group work.

I am currently working in a systemics approach with family’s which involves analysing and addressing issues by considering the interconnected relationships and interdependencies within a system. Rather than focusing solely on individual components or isolated factors.

Specialists community Counsellor working with children/ young people and adults covering 5 Gp surgeries, NHS funded. 

I have worked  in a refuges supporting families who have been impacted by Domestic Abuse and have to leave their homes for safety reasons. 

I offer group work to children and young people in an education setting, furthermore facilitating training to professionals.

I have worked as a counsellor for many years in Domestic Abuse for two different charity’s with children and adults out in the community and in schools, Primary/Secondary and Academies.

I have worked with children/ young people and adults with learning difference. Along side that working as a community counsellor and working from Gp surgeries with adults. 

Individual bits of work for Social Services and GP’s. Worked in college and private schools.

Additional training Specialised work with Domestic Violence Abuse victims.

Worked voluntary for the post natal depression association for over 14 years.

Worked for Daft as a brush with cancer patients two years also voluntary.

Worked in an inclusion unit with adolescence with social, emotional, behaviour issues.

Clinical Supervision £60 for hour 30 minutes, discount for training counsellors.

£49.00 for 50 minute counselling session. Evening work from 6:30pm onwards £60.00. I charge £45.00 for intake assessment, first initial meeting.I aim to offer initial appointment a week from first contact.
I Work from my own home offering a safe environment a private room that is inviting, comfortable and peaceful.

Couple Counselling 1 hr £80

Clinical Supervision £65 for hour and half, discount for counsellors in training.

Excellent communication skills, maintaining and building positive relationships with individuals of various age groups, gender, disability, race and sexual orientation.

I am interested in mindfulness, enjoy yoga,meditation and exercise. I have some training in visionary relaxation technique,I can use this in my client work.
