About me

Thank you for reading this profile . I am an accredited, registered psychodynamic psychotherapist, with clinical experience of working with individuals in private practice, charities, and the NHS.

One in four people experience mental distress at some point in their lives, whilst what's troubling you are your individual concerns , you are not alone as this kind of distress can affect anyone at any time in their lives. You may be experiencing difficult feelings in relation to specific life events, such as bereavements or other losses, difficulties in your work or personal relationships, and other changes in your life such as children leaving home.

You may be seeking help for the first time, struggling to manage difficult feelings such as low self-esteem, sadness , lonliness ,depression, anxiety, anger, or frustration, and thoughts about self harm.

Some people feel trapped in painful and difficult situations in relationships at work, or in their personal lives, and sometimes in repeating patterns of behaviour which confusingly they know to be harmful to their well-being.

The therapy which I provide involves making a mutual commitment to fifty minte sessions on a once-weekly basis, which take place on the same day each week, and at the same time, in a quiet and confidential setting.

You may find it helpful to view my website which contains further information on how I work. or you can contact me on 07874229344.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice and a WPF Diploma in Counselling skills.

I currently provide psychotherapy in private practice, with individual adults and young people age 16+ facing a range of difficulties , and also for an NHS specialist service working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

I trained as a psychotherapist at WPF Therapy in London, which is one of the leading psychodynamic and psychoanalytic training institutions in the UK. My training included  clinical experience with people working, and studying in central London.

Prior to training as a psychotherapist I trained as a bereavement counsellor with CRUSE and i used counselling skills in my previous employment whilst working with young people facing a range of difficulties.

I am registered with the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council), and the FPC (Foundation for Counselling and Psychotherapy). My qualification is recognised by The BACP ( British Association Counselling and Psychotherapy and UKCP ( United Kingdom Counsellors and Psychotherapists ) I am committed to meeting the ethical and continuing professional development standards required for good practice by these organisations.
