Safe Haven Counselling Wirral
80 Barnston Road
Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Amanda. I am a person-centred therapist and I work at Safe Haven Counselling Wirral. My counselling service offers a calm and tranquil location where you can share any concerns or challenges you might be facing in a non-judgemental and caring environment. The one-to one counselling service takes place in a purpose-built log cabin located in a quiet garden on the Wirral. It offers privacy and an intimate space in which to talk and be heard. I offer open-ended counselling.
I am a qualified practitioner with an MA from the University of Chester. I continually update my practice through undertaking short courses, most recently in cognitive behavioural therapy. I am a registered member of the BACP and follow their ethical framework in my practice. I have worked with a variety of clients in a number of locations throughout the North West. Prior to training as a therapist, I worked as a researcher and lecturer in higher education.
