I offer a friendly, relaxed, confidential space for you to be able to talk about how you are feeling with respect and understanding. I work with all sorts of difficulties: depression, bereavement, anger, anxiety, stress, relationship breakdowns all of which, can have a negative impact on our health and wellbeing.
I aim to work with you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings without any judgement so you can gain a sense of control and inner wellbeing.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked with addiction, anger, anger management, anxiety, bereavement, depression, loss, low self esteem, self harm, stress and a range of others issues.
I have experience within the education sector at The Colchester Institute Counselling service working with individuals of varying ages and work with adults with learning disabilities. I have also worked in the voluntary sector with young adults, mental health issues and solution focused work with adults recovering from substance misuse.
I have a BACP Accredited Diploma in Person Centred Counselling
BA (Hons) degree in Counselling Studies and Mental Health

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and practice within their ethical framework. I am CRB checked and fully insured. As part of my continuing professional development I regularly attend supervision and personal professional workshops.
