Amanda Croft RegMBACP Child, Young Person & Adult Counsellor / Psychotherapist
Life can throw all sorts of obstacles at us. Sometimes we simply need to talk to someone who is prepared to listen without judgement; who does not 'give advice' but merely holds the space for personal reflection, growth and development. It takes courage to take these first steps.
I am an independent, experienced and professional counsellor / psychotherapist. I work with children, young people and adults including couples across a broad range of client issues and compliment my private practice in Liphook, Hampshire with working for a counselling charity and in education. All ages, disability, gender, race, religion and sexuality are welcome.
I use an integrative approach, along with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, which focuses primarily on the relationship between client and therapist. This is built around trust, respect, safety and empowerment. Kindness and compassion are fundamental. My work is client led as only you know how you feel. Certain counselling styles suit some people more than others, so I draw from a number of models to provide the right support for you.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Code of Practice.
Do feel free to contact me to discuss your concerns at any time. All communication is confidential. I aim to return all calls and emails within 24 hours if not sooner.
