Amanda Cofek CPsychol
I offer Integrative Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and work with a short-term focused approached of usually between 6 - 20 sessions. At a first appointment, we will discuss what you would like help with and agree on the approach and focus for our work together.
I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, low mood, anger difficulties, social anxiety, panic disorder, low self-esteem, assertiveness, loss, relationship difficulties, work-related problems and stress. Difficulties can also be more general in nature and I offer a safe and confidential space to think about what may be troubling you and how you might move forward.
As well as working in private practice, I work as a counsellor in the NHS and as a Clinical Manager for a charity. I have a background in teaching and co-run a business which provides training for therapists.
