I am an accredited counsellor based in the southside of Glasgow, offering one to one counselling sessions to adults and young people aged 11-18.
As a person centred therapist, I am focused on the individual needs of every client. My role is not to tell my clients what they should or shouldn't do, but rather to work together to find a solution. I offer a safe, empathic, confidential space for clients to explore the things in their lives that are causing difficulties.
I have a particular interest in working with young people, as I have spent the past 5 years working as a youth counsellor within different high schools in and around Glasgow.
Training, qualifications & experience
I achieved my post graduated certificate in counselling skills at Strathclyde University in 2009, and then went on to complete my diploma in counselling at Strathclyde University in 2011.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including within an addiction service, but the majority of my work has been with young people aged 11-18, based within a high school setting.
