A very warm welcome to my page. Whatever has brought you here, whether it is anxiety, depression, relationship issues or any other aspect of your life, I believe it will be unique to you. And this is the approach I take to all my clients, whatever it is that concerns them, and however young or old they are. You can expect to have my full respect, acceptance without judgement and my genuine wish to work with you to understand your personal experience. I work from a peaceful garden room in my home in Farnham and aim to provide you with a confidential, comfortable space in which you can feel heard, understood, accepted and supported. As an experienced youth counsellor working with young people in both NHS and college settings, I welcome young people over the age of 12, in addition to offering my service to adults.
A 15 minute free telephone consultation
There are many different approaches to counselling, and you may have questions about how I work, or you may just want to make initial contact to see if you feel comfortable with me. If so, we can make an appointment for a 15 minute telephone consultation to help you decide what feels right for you.
Number of sessions
This is entirely your choice, however in my experience, a minimum or six sessions, ideally once a week, is often seen to be more helpful. We can review this together as we go forward.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative counsellor. I respect and will explore with you your unique experience and draw on a number of complementary approaches to tailor counselling to each individual client.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and adhere to their ethical guidelines.
