I am a mindfulness teacher, and specialise in working with anxiety and depression, so together, we will create opportunities for self-discovery that allows you to heal, opening doors; and enabling you to create the life you want. I offer a therapeutic relationship where you will be met with warmth, honesty and a genuine commitment in understanding you.
I build on Clients strengths, as well as getting to the core of the issue. Clients report that their therapy effectively addresses their concerns and issues, whilst gaining greater self-awareness and a clear understanding of themselves and their situations, and the ability to make real positive changes in all areas of their lives.

The MBSR 8-week course will help you find ways of living life with less stress, help you cope better and improve your sense of well being and quality of life. The aim of the course is to bring more awareness and acceptance into everyday life by establishing a daily mindfulness practice; to deepen understanding of the way we think, feel and react to stress and to understand and practice mindful responses to stress. The course is very practical and participatory; over the weeks we systematically work to cultivate the skill necessary to live a life with more ease, joy and present moment awareness.

MBSR is a structured 8 week group course teaching mindfulness meditation as an effective and dependable counter-balance to the stresses of life.It will help you find ways of living life with less stress, help you cope better, improve your sense of well being and quality of life.
We will focus on developing life skills (rather than providing a ‘quick fix’) thereby promoting a greater awareness of ourselves, others and the world around us, as well as a greater capacity to manage stress and improve attention. The course is very practical and participatory; over the weeks we systematically work to cultivate the skill necessary to live a life with more ease, joy and present moment awareness.
When you are mindful, you are more keenly aware of everything that is going on within and around you in this current moment, because you are not so preoccupied with your usual mental wrangling. The "space" that mindfulness opens up gives you the opportunity to observe the happenings of the world in a fresh light and to accept "what is" and leave it at that.
Without mindfulness, you may react mentally, emotionally and physically to life, and sometimes the consequences of those reactions are even more damaging that the events that brought them up in the first place!
This course is suitable for newcomers as well as experienced meditators. It is also extremely helpful for professionals, particularly health professionals, and anyone wishing to find ways of living a less stressful life.
Both the MBSR program and the facilitator create a safe, hospitable environment, as they partner with participants to form a deeply engaging space for learning and growth.
