I believe people are individuals and one size does not fit all. I offer more than one approach using a number of theoretical models as appropriate to meet your individual needs, using a range of client-centred (humanistic) approaches.
I can offer guidance to help you make sense of yourself and gain insight and understanding into what may be troubling you.
I am supportive, respectful and genuine, with a strong belief in the quality of our relationship being a key factor in the positive outcomes of therapy. I offer a confidential, safe, warm and non-judgemental environment in which you may share and explore your inner thoughts.
It may be difficult and challenging for you to talk about your thoughts and feelings and the prospect of counselling can be daunting. The initial step may be hard, but once taken, it can lead to a happier and more fulfilling life.
I work with individuals of any race, culture, religion or sexual orientation and see adults, young and older people for a wide range of emotional problems and relationship issues, working with both specific issues and psychotherapeutically, for short or longer term work, as required.
My private practice is located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
I receive regular clinical supervision, ensuring ethical and safe practice is maintained.
