About me

I offer an empathetic, safe and non-judgmental environment and strive to create a collaborative, supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with each of my clients. My goal is to help you identify and understand the obstacles you’re facing, teaching psychological skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings effectively, in such a way that they have much less impact and influence.  Together we clarify what’s truly important and meaningful to you so that you can set goals and take action that enriches your life, enhancing a sense of well-being and personal satisfaction.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and together we’ll find the best treatment path for you. I provide a highly personalized approach, tailored to your individual needs and objectives. I draw on a range of psychological approaches for people experiencing a variety of psychological difficulties. These include Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and  Reprocessing (EMDR). An Attachment-Informed approach to EMDR therapy is also used, as difficulties can be rooted in early-life experiences of secure and insecure attachment in childhood. I also provide Jungian Sandplay Therapy, a creative, analytic, depth therapy, which is grounded in Jungian Psychology and can be used for all ages for  a range of problems, from low self-esteem, anxiety and depression to more complex trauma.

I have worked for many years as a Therapist and Psychologist and work with a range of ages, mostly adolescents, young people and adults.  I also offer consultation and supervision to other professionals.

I continue to maintain regular clinical supervision.
