Hello, my name is Alison, welcome to my Counselling Directory Profile and well done for taking the first step!
Life can be difficult and at times it can feel overwhelming. Difficutlies and challenges, old and new, can effect our well-being, our relationships with others and can lead to feelings of confusion or uncertainty, depression and anxiety.
Counselling can offer a safe and confidential space to talk through these issues or emotional difficutlies and gain a clearer insight. This greater sense of self-awareness can allow you to make changes, adapt and develop existing thoughts, feelings and behaviours and allow you to move towards healing and more fulfilled sense of well-being.
I have 7 years experience of working as a counsellor and I also provide Clinical Supervision to other counsellors. This experience has been gained in the community and statutory sector as well as in my private practice. I also currently provide counselling services to the two largest EAP's in Northern Ireland.
Full BACP Accreditaion and Registration.
