Hello and welcome
You may be reading this if you're struggling with difficult feelings or experiences. At a time when you might be feeling lost and nothing seems clear, counselling offers you a safe space and time to feel really listened to, understood and accepted. Exploring your feelings, hopes, fears, relationships and choices, can support you in coping with the events and issues in your life and enable you to consider the options available to you.
I offer counselling that is tailored to you as an individual and which is built around a supportive and non-judgmental relationship, whatever your background or circumstances. My discreet and comfortable counselling service is in Hexham, Northumberland.
A fully qualified and experienced counsellor I am a registered member of the BACP and accredited by the UKCP. I have worked with clients to overcome a broad range of issues including depression, panic, anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction, relationship issues and anger management issues. I offer solution-focused brief therapy, short-term counselling or longer-term depth therapy, according on your needs and wishes.
By combining tools from person centred counselling, body psychotherapy, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis as well as creative therapies I can help you to gain a deeper understanding of the issues you are facing so that you can find your way forward.
Counselling works well when the relationship between counsellor and client is strong, so it's important to find the right therapist for you. If you'd like to talk to me before deciding to arrange a session, please feel free to call or send me an email. Or you can contact me to arrange an initial session to talk about your issues and see if I might be the right counsellor for you.
I look forward to hearing from you. If you need to talk, I'm here to listen.
