Alison Kinrade MBACP (Reg)
I offer affordable, compassionate counselling in Shrewsbury. I am an experienced counsellor who is passionately interested in helping people understand themselves – why they do the things they do, say the things they say and think the things they think.
My counselling approach is based on the belief that you possess everything you need to create the life you want. Sometimes though, it can be hard to work out what to do or how to do it. Perhaps things have happened that have limited your belief in yourself, maybe you feel confused and can’t see the answer clearly enough or, you know what to do, but something holds you back. This is when it can help to talk to someone who will listen with care and without judgement whilst you work things out and make the choices and decisions that are right for you.
WHAT HAPPENS IN OUR COUNSELLING SESSIONS
Our sessions will last for 50 minutes – the first session is free of charge and will usually be to find out about each other and the service I offer. It is important you feel understood, heard and above all, safe to talk about the things that matter to you.
The length and frequency of counselling is very individual. It can be short, mid or long term depending on what you’re going through and what you’re looking to accomplish. Please feel free to telephone me on 07872179588 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to ask more questions before you decide whether counselling is something that you would like to do.
