Alison Baugh MA Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, MBACP
I am a Psychotherapeutic counsellor who would like to help you bring the sunshine back into your life. Life throws up challenges for all of us at some point. Whatever you are facing whether it be relationship issues, anxiety, addiction or depression, I am here to support you on your journey. We all deserve to lead happy fulfilling lives. My roles is to help you find the answers and the direction that is best for you. I believe all the answers to our individual challenges are within us. My role is to facilitate the process of unblocking your inner awareness and support you as you go through the process of positive change. I am a Jungian therapist which in practice is a relational talking therapy. I work with you to get you back on your path to fulfilment and clarity. I incorporate dream analysis into sessions. I also introduce elements of CBT at the end of sessions to incorporate the insights you have gained within the session into actions in your every day life
Individual counselling sessions take place once a week on the same day and at an agreed time, and last for the therapeutic hour which is 50 minutes. The length of therapy is different for everyone – it can take a few sessions or many months, depending on your situation and your needs. During that hour, you will decide what you want to talk about – it is your space and you are in charge of the process.
I am available to provide counselling sessions via Skype.
E-mail contact will never be a substitute for a counselling session, but can serve to provide you with brief support or be a way to make, change or cancel appointments. There is no charge for email support along with your Individual or Skype sessions.
