Are you suffering from stress, anxiety or difficulties in your relationships? Perhaps there are times in your life when you feel unable to cope and do not wish to burden family or friends with your problems. At such times it may be helpful to talk to a trained professional like myself who can offer you a reflective space, to listen with compassion and interest to your concerns.
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and have practised for many years as counsellor and psychotherapist in private practice and within the NHS.
By talking to someone like me, you may be assisted in making sense of painful thoughts and feelings, and underlying patterns of relating, which may be long-standing and rooted in earlier life experiences. I offer a gentle exploratory approach to your distress, and safe connection that may help foster your sense of self and your inherent capacity for change and creativity.
I offer long and short term therapy to individuals from all backgrounds and ages, experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties in their lives and relationships. I am also a qualified supervisor.
I provide a quiet therapy room in a residential area, located a few minutes walk from a tube and overground railway station.
I welcome questions you may have about counselling/psychotherapy. Do send me an email or leave me a message if you have any queries or would like to arrange an initial consultation with me. I usually suggest meeting twice in the first instance,to think about whether my approach could be helpful for you.
