My name is Alexandra Bush, I offer a counselling and psychotherapy service in an environment that promotes deepened and insightful conversations.
Talking to someone who listens empathetically, without judgement can ease: anxiety, stress, depression and help to manage destructive behavioural patterns. This in turn has a positive effect on you and the relationships that matter in your life.
I am a qualified psychotherapist with many years experience working both at the Tavistock Relationship centre and private practice.
I work with individuals and couples with a range of problems, such as , lack of communication between partners, addictions, separation, affairs, relationship endings and parenting difficulties.
Each sessions is tailored to the individual and their needs. Counselling offers the opportunity to explore the areas that may be causing difficulty at the time. I will be able to support you through every aspect of the counselling process.
Sessions are private and confidential* and are 1 hour long.
I offer day and evening sessions in the Suffolk and Norfolk areas.
What clients have said about my service:
'After a few weeks of trying to cope with my emotions following my sisters death, I realised that I needed support. I found Alex through a counselling referral service. I was welcomed by Alex to share my deepest feelings in a very trusting and warm environment. Through Alex's guidance and knowledge, I was able to understand what I was feeling and why. Alex helps me to stay grounded and see situations for what they are, which I could not do on my own. For this, I am truly grateful! ' J. H.
"I needed to talk to someone about my marriage. Counselling was always in the back of my mind but did not feel brave enough to make the call. Things became too hard at home and I decided to give Alex a call which turned out to be the best thing I could have done!. Alex is warm , engaging and proffessional. The toughest problems that I was going through began to feel better with time and I have an understanding about myself that helps me cope diffrently to the problems faced a year ago." M. W.
"Thanks for all of your help. I don't think I could have gone through my divorce in one piece if you had not been there supporting me through the process". S.M
