I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I offer counselling sessions in English and in Polish.
I’m aware that a decision about starting counselling is a big step that requires courage and I very much value the trust that each client places in me. There are many reasons why you might be looking for counselling: you may think ‘but it’s only a small thing…’ yet no difficulty feels small when you are living with it. Whatever brings you to counselling, I intend to create for you a safe and confidential space to enable you to explore any difficult situations, feelings and emotions, to reflect upon them and help to understand them; and offer a non-judgemental listening ear. I strongly believe that you should be in charge of the content and pace of our work together, so it is always your choice about what you would like to explore during therapy sessions, and when. I am here to support you on your therapeutic process.
I am trained in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and in my work with clients I draw from different approaches including Person Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) or Creative Therapy. This helps me to tailor therapy sessions to each client’s needs.

I have worked as a counsellor in a number of Children’s Centres in East Devon which enabled me to work with clients from different backgrounds and a variety of issues for example: stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, separation and divorce, parenting challenges, domestic abuse. I’ve also worked at Ubuntu Counselling Services where I helped clients from various cultural groups.
Alongside counselling I ran BabyCalm™ parenting classes and workshop supporting parents in their role and helping them make their own informed decisions.
I worked as a psychotherapist and tutor in camps for bereaved children and their families run by Marians Fathers’ Home Hospice Centre in Warsaw. This gave me an opportunity to support both adults and children in their grief.
I was a counsellor at Psychological Counselling Centre in Warsaw and I worked with clients who needed urgent appointments.
Areas of counselling I deal with
I charge £35 per one hour session and offer the initial consultation at a reduced rate of £20. This is to enable us to meet and assess your needs and aims, and you can gain a sense of how we might work together.
If you would like to book an appointment or have any queries please call or email me, whichever feels more comfortable. If I'm unable to answer your call immediately for example when I'm working with another client, please leave me a message with your name and phone number and I will call you back.
