As a Gestalt counsellor for a number of years working in a primary care setting and Employee Assistance Programme, i.e. Staff counselling with numerous organisations and companies my experience is broad.
I am interested in the needs and wants of the client and look to working in a creative and genuine relationship.
My Philosophy is about making whole that which has become fractured, further enhanced by my experience as a gestalt Psychotherapist.
I have worked with many areas of client issues including bereavement,grief and loss, attachment, bullying, sexual identity, relationships, sexual,psychological and physical abuse,
anxiety and depression.
I work both from home in Beverley and work as a senior psychotherapist for Focus counselling in the hull area.
I also offer supervision to organisations and individuals who use counselling as a career or those who use counselling skills.
I Supervise staff at a North Lincolnshire service who support female and males who have suffered sexual and domestic abuse.
Training, qualifications & experience
Foundation Degree in counselling theory and practice at Leeds Met University.
MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy at The Metanoia Institute, London.
I am currently working at Focus counselling services in Hull working both short term EAP work, And long term with clients from local organisations, trusts, private clients also.
I also work for a service who have the contract for counselling for the local NHS trust working with clients from a range of diverse backgrounds.
My initial training coincided with my Cruse bereavement training which I worked with until recently.
I have 7 years post training and gained employment on completion of the graduation.

My Fees are £45 per session. and £45 for couples counselling.
