Aidan Peters, Adv. Dip. Couns, MBACP
I am a professionally trained and qualified humanistic counsellor. I have been working for Heads Together youth counselling service in Redhill for the past 5 years and I am a counsellor for Capel Manor College in Gunnersbury. I see clients from age 14 and up.
As an experienced practitioner I believe in developing collaborative therapeutic relationships with a focus on compassionate understanding to help achieve better mental health, personal growth and balance. Within my practice I also integrate a bio-psychosocial model of mental health; acknowledging each client's social and environmental context as well as the psychological and physical.
If you would like to self-refer for an initial assessment then we can discuss your individual needs and what you would like from therapy. If you choose to proceed with one-to-one counselling then we can contract to work on a short-term (usually 6-12 sessions) or on a longer term basis, depending on what feels right for you. Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and are confidential.
