I have 23 years of experience working as a counsellor and psychotherapist in a variety of settings - GP surgeries, psychotherapy department, workplace and charitable sectors.
I offer regular, on-going weekly sessions for a individuals, couples and groups for long-term work. Occasionally I can offer short term sessions for individuals.
I work with people who have long term difficulties that maybe impeding their full engagement with life and that may have historical issues that keep resurfacing and causing probelms.
I enjoy counselling and believe that the working relationship between client and counsellor is the key ingredient in successful therapy.
When you ring me, we will have a short discussion about what you need and arrange an assessment session. At this first appointment we will be able to discuss what your issues are, if I am the right person for you to work with and how frequently you will need to have sessions. Once you have engaged in the counselling with me you will find it rewarding, sometimes challenging and a safe place for you to work on your issues with the help and care of an experienced professional.
