About me

Are you looking for an experienced and compassionate professional counsellor to help you? Whatever it is that is causing you to struggle or feel distress, counselling can give you a place to be heard and to offload the thoughts and feelings that can overwhelm you.

If you choose me as your therapist you can rely on me to be warm, empathic and genuine in all our dealings with each other. I will assist you in uncovering your goals and to work out whether counselling is the right way for you to achieve them. • I will treat you as an individual and find a way that suits you personally
  • You can set the pace and the agenda
  • I will offer you my non-judgemental acceptance and try to understand your unique perspective
  • I will not try to tell you what to do
  • A professional and ethical standard of practice according to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework

"Thank you so much for helping me.  You've given me my voice back, my confidence and life back!"

“Thank you so much for the last two years.  I can honestly say you have saved my life.”

“When I started counselling I had no expectations about its success. Now, on finishing our sessions I find I am a total convert! Thank you so much for your help. I hope you know that whatever successes await me will in part be due to you.”

“Thank you so much for all your help and guidance throughout this year. It has meant so much to me that you have understood me so well...You have made everything bearable when things haven’t seemed possible.”
