Are you drinking too much? How can you stop?
August 1st, 2009 by Kimberley Tylor
We all know how easy it is to gain access to alcohol and most people don't need to have a drink and can stop at just 1 or 2.
Unfortunately 1 in 13 people become alcoholics or binge drinkers and the success rate for Alcoholics Annonymous is estimated at only 5%.
There are however other methods for overcome this demon drink
insight and a changed attitude towards yourself and your worth in society has been proven to make a difference. Many of the people I see regarding alcohol abuse often have low self esteem and although they have tried to stop on their own they just haven't developed the coping skills to do so. When they have stopped for short periods of time in the past there seems to be too much time to reflect on who they really are and this soul searching often sends them back to drink. So working on resolving but not wallowing in past issues, building up self esteem and letting them find thier way back to who they really are has given a 100% success rate so far. What tools do other counsellors and hypnotherapists use?
