Anger Management

Anger in itself is neither good nor bad - it's the way in which it is expressed that can cause problems. Aggression, on the other hand, is completely different - it is meant to cause pain.
Anger is often a reflex reaction which is out of proportion to what is actually happening in the present and has connections to when we have been hurt in the past especially when we were too young to understand what was happening.
Most anger is based on fear; people are scared of their feelings so can cover up with anger. When we come to understand what is at the root of this reaction it is possible to let go of this destructive force. Exercises and cognitive behavioural strategies are also used to form an integral part of the work.
