Weight and Wellbeing Tips - Step 2

November 3rd, 2009 by Jayne Cox

How’s your journal keeping going? Has it gone great guns, or have you gone off the boil? If it’s not working you can stick with it, if it's new it's bound to challenge you, imagine finding it fun and reflective or find other ways to explore your thoughts. I often encourage clients to think in a quiet space like the car, bath or whilst out walking the dog!

Step 2

If your journal and exploration are pretty good then let’s move on a step further. I want you to really listen to your head, listen to the tone and strength of the ‘voice’. No you’re not crazy, you do have a voice that gives you a hard time though. Maybe it tells you what a bad husband, wife, mum, dad, child, employee, friend you are. Maybe it tells you can’t change and you are a failure. Perhaps it insults you, who needs enemies when your own head can do so much bullying!

You can change this, recognizing it is the start and we’ll look at positive steps next week.
