Counsellor ProfileWhy suffer in silence when you can talk to a fully qualified, experienced listener who will help you every step of the way to resolving any personal, social or work issues you may have in your life in a safe, confidential environment?
Together, we will view your life from every angle, and the way you experience everything around you.
We will explore the things that matter most to you, and help you gain a better grasp of your own perspective on life.
I will also help you explore how to live your life in line with your own beliefs and ideals, rather than with those of others. We call this 'living authentically', which means that we live true to ourselves and that we are honest about our own strengths and weaknesses, our likes and dislikes, foibles and prejudices.
Living this way means we are continually working with ourselves and developing ourselves, even when we are faced with deep uncertainty about everything in the future. It also means living consciously and deliberately, rather than simply by default.
My role as a therapist is to enable you to 'meet' yourself. We will look at what makes you suffer and what makes you happy, and I will work alongside you while you explore and gain a better understanding of your life and the way you live it.
I will avoid passing judgement on what you say, but will sometimes question you when what you say doesn't seem to add up.
The aim of this type of therapy is for you to learn to live the best possible life, in your own way, and on your own terms.
All you need do is pick up the phone and speak to me, leave me a message or send me an email to arrange an initial session. You can also read my website for more information about me and the way I work.
