Counsellor Profile
I am Black, female and self-employed as a Counsellor, Supervisor and Therapeutic Group Facilitator. My approach is Inter-cultural and Integrative. I also utilise other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis as appropriate to each clients needs. I am a member of BACP, and apply BACP standards and code of ethics in both my counselling practise and supervision.
My work has a strong emphasis on self-awarness and relationship. I offer counselling, supervision and group work in response to a broad range of emotional and mental health needs, please see - 'Areas of Counselling'.
I have specialist knowledge and experience of bereavement counselling and for 18 years I have also worked with parents, carers and individuals of all ages, who are either frail, have life threatening illness, disabled or have an impairment or special needs.
