Counsellor Profile

I am a Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist , Counsellor and Couple Counsellor. I am accredited with BASRT and registered with UKCP and BACP. I have maintained a private practice in South West London for seventeen years. I have worked as a Counsellor in the NHS in a GP setting for sixteen years. I am also a Supervisor and a Coach. My training is Humanistic Integrative which means that I use a variety of approaches in my work with clients I believe in short term focussed work although I will work longer term when appropriate. I have recently started to work in an intensive way with couples. This way of working has brought some dramatic results in a very short space of time.

Post Graduate Diploma Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapy.
Diploma in Clinical Supervision .
I work with many different issues including depression, stress, low self esteem, anger (expressed or unexpressed), core issues of shame and loss of identity. I work with addictions including alcohol, food, drugs and sex. I work with couples where communication and intimacy has broken down or where sex has stopped. I also work with couples who want to separate. I work with individuals who have lost their way.

I offer intensive working sessions to couples who would like to bring change to their relationship over a short period of time. These sessions can be three to four hours in length or we can work over a weekend. I offer a flexible programme to suit you.

Fees

£95.00 for individual sessions
£95.00 for couple sessions

Extra Information

I believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is the most important ingredient in the therapeutic process and it is important for you to find the right person to work with. I am happy to talk to you on the telephone and answer questions before arranging a assessment session.
