Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I specialise in issues of transition - for example, endings, changes in life circumstances, transcultural experiences and issues of 'home' and 'belonging'. I also specialise in issues of meaning - loss of meaning, sexuality and relationships, questions of life and existence. I work in CENTRAL LONDON and in BRIGHTON and HOVE as well as internationally.

Fees

Differential fees depending upon income and whether you are self-financing or under insurance coverage. Fees may also depend upon length of work, type of work etc. and vary according to location, being slightly higher in CENTRAL LONDON.

The sliding scale allows some negotiation with the client. However, fees reflect the level of education and experience accomplished by Dr Madison. Sessions are typically 50 minutes or 75 minutes for a couple's first session.

Corporate Coaching rates are also available and typically negotiated as a package of sessions and support. Mediation is often scheduled by the day or half-day. These are both available in LONDON and BRIGHTON.

Registered with all major health insurance companies as psychologist and psychotherapist.

Further Information

Focusing is an experiential form of self-reflection. It is a very gentle and respectful process of paying attention to how your body 'feels' your life situations. It allows a person to stay with their concrete life experience before it is divided into cognition and emotions or interpretations and thinking. Most people find it to be a very effective form of therapy and many continue to use it after therapy as a form of self-help. See www.focusing.org or www.gregmadison.org
