Counsellor Profile

I am a qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist working for Relate and in prvate practice. I see couples, individuals and young people.
I do short and longer term work and specialise in issues arising from relationships.
I can also help with stress and anxiety, financial problems and various forms of addiction. I work with depression and sexual problems that are psychologically based.
My aim is to help you increase your understanding of what has happend and to support you in exploring ideas and possibilities for positive change.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Relationship Therapy, I am an Accredited Member of British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (www.bacp.co.uk)and I am a Relate Qualified Practitioner. I have additional training which allows me to work with young people.

My training is based on three main principles; the psychodynamic approach that has long been effective for personal issues and long term problems; systemic principles that were developed specifically for families and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy that I use mainly for depression. Together they give me a broad base to help with specific difficulties that have arisen in your life and with more deep seated problems that you wish to resolve.

£40.00 per 50 minute session

£45.00 on Saturdays

Extra Information

I work from my home in a village close to major roads and motorways linking Cheltenham, Cirencester, Swindon and Oxford. There is ample parking and the setting is very private.
