I am an Independent Counsellor, Psychotherapist, PFOA(Police Firearms Officers Association) Counsellor and Registered Trauma Specialist, with practices in ::Uttoxeter, Staffs :: Mickleover, Derby:: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs.
The approaches I use include:- Gestalt Therapy, Person Centred Therapy,CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Psychodynamic Therapies.
I provide :-
- Personal Therapy ( looking at individual issues)
- Couples Counselling ( looking at relationship Issues )
- Family Therapy ( looking at behaviour issues )
- Trauma Therapy ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Issues)
(Evening and Saturday appointments available)
I offer a non-judgemental, confidential counselling service, and I follow the BACP code of Ethics. My background is in community health and social care. I write as an 'agony aunt' for local newspapers and magazines in Staffordshire. I also write articals for other magazines and newspapers in Staffordshire and North Derbyshire. I regularly appear on BBC Radio Stoke and BBC Radio Derby and I have done so for several years. More recently I have been working with clients behind the scenes for ITV.
