I am an experienced movement psychotherapist and group analyst. My work is to help people use a combination of movement and words to explore and resolve personal problems and emotional difficulties.

I AM CURRENTLY TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR A NEW MOVEMENT PSYCHOTHERAPY GROUP - This group will meet on Tuesday evenings and will particularly suit men and women involved in teaching, health and social care, or similar, who are looking for a space to deal with their own issues.

I have some vacancies available for people seeking individual therapy.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a member of the Institute of Group Analysis, registered with UK Council for Psychotherapy, and I am a Fellow and Senior Registered practitioner of the Association for Dance Movement Psychoherapy UK.
I have over twenty years experience of working privately and in the NHS.
I also provide clinical supervision for less experienced psychotherapists.

Movement Psychotherapy is the therapy of choice for many people who value the opportunity to use a combination of verbal and non-verbal communication. It is ideal for those who are seeking to improve their interpersonal relationships. It can be especially helpful for people who find it hard to talk about personal issues, or who 'talk themselves around in circles’ but do not easily recognise or communicate their feelings.

Fees

Individual sessions of Movement Pschotherapy £40 - £65
Initial assessment meeting (90 mins) £55 - £85
In certain circumstances of difficulty fees may be reduced.

Group Movement Psychotherapy - weekly sessions £25 to be paid monthly in advance.
Initial meeting £50, increasing to £65 for those people joining after the group first starts.

Further Information

My practice is based in newly equipped rooms within a few minutes of central Croydon, with adjacent rail, tram and bus links to South East, South West and Central London, and to the South of England.
