I am a qualified and BACP accredited counsellor offering individual (one-to-one) confidential counselling, during which you can explore any issues you wish to - such as : Anxiety, Abuse, Depression, Bereavement, Relationships, Sexuality, Low self-esteem.
I feel that answers lie within ourselves and that I can help you gain a greater understanding of who you are. You can then make effective choices that are right for you, so that you can move forward in your life and be at peace with who you are. Counselling can result in change, but equally can result in acceptance or understanding of what cannot be changed.
Using an integrative approach, bringing together skills from various principles, counselling can be tailored to meet your very individual needs. This should help you get the most from our sessions together.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have a BSc (Hons) Integrative Counselling from Roehampton University London, incorporating the models of Person-centred, Psychodynamic and Existentialism.
I have experience with a number of counselling agencies where I have worked with adults, teenagers and older people. I have also worked as a qualified nurse and with adults with learning disabilities.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework for good practice. Being accredited with this professional body means that I have achieved a substantial level of approved training and experience.

Further Information
Daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available. These are generally held on a weekly basis, but where clients are unable to commit to this, I do occasionally hold fortnightly or monthly appointments.
I have a ground floor counselling room in my house in Littlehampton, which is within a five minute walk from the town centre and the railway station. There is free nearby parking in Goda Road and Fitzalan Road, as well as a public car park at the nearby Somerfield supermarket
