Profile
I provide an independent professional, caring and non-judgemental counselling service for adults, couples, young people and children from a quiet and discreet centre in the heart of Sandbach. Having been a Counsellor in a national mental health charity for ten years I worked with a diverse range of client struggles.
I also offer parenting support or the full Triple 'P' (Positive Parenting Programme) to parents on a one-2-one basis or within small groups of up to six people organised by the participants.
I am also an Affiliate Counsellor with a number of Employee Assistance Programme providers (EAP's).
I have worked with children and families since 1985 within private, government, LEA and charity settings.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
BACP Accredited Counsellor since 2004
TRIPLE 'P' (Positive Parenting Programme) Accredited Provider at levels covering children aged 2 - 12 years; teenagers 12 - 16 years; and Special Needs 2 - 16 years.
DIPLOMA IN COUPLE COUNSELLING.
CERTIFICATE in Working with Children and Young People.
DIPLOMA IN COUNSELLING (Salford University BACP Accredited Course).
CERTIFICATE IN COUNSELLING.
NVQ II in Childcare in Education.
My main theoretical model of counselling is the Person-Centred approach (Humanistic).
Triple 'P' is CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Psychology based.

Fees
INDIVIDUALS: ..... £40 per 50 minute session
COUPLES: .......... £50 per 50 minute session; per couple.
GROUPS: ............ £40 for the first person + £10 extra per participant; therefore six people would be £90 per 50 minute session.
CORPORATE RATE: ... Individuals: £45 per 50 minute session
CORPORATE RATE: ... Couples: £55 per 50 minute session; per couple.
CORPORATE RATE: ... Groups: £45 for the first person + £15 per extra participant; therefore six people would be £120 per 50 minute session
I can generally offer an appointment within a week.
Wednesday: 6pm & 7.15pm
Thursday & Friday: 2pm; 3.15pm; 4.30pm; 6pm & 7.15pm

I am an accredited member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to their Ethical Framework and Standards of Practice.

DIRECTIONS:
Sandbach is near Junction 17 off the M.6
Hope Street is off the roundabout within central Sandbach between The Natwest Bank and Swift Services.
There is no public parking on Hope Street, but there are several car parks nearby: Waitrose, Chapel Street and the Market Square (disabled parking only). Unfortunately parking can be difficult on Thursdays because of the Market.
There is a regular bus service from Crewe, Congleton and Macclesfield plus less frequent services from Holmes Chapel, Northwich and Hanley.
If travelling by train, Sandbach Station is approximately 1 mile from the Centre on the A533 Middlewich Road.
