Karen Clements BSc Hons, MBACP (Accred)
I offer confidential counselling in comfortable surroundings in central Dorking, a short walk from stations and within yards of Dorking High Street.
I trained as an integrative counsellor, which means I may combine the empathic approach of person-centred counselling with other approaches such as psychodynamic theories, in a sensitive manner that takes account of my client's own needs.
I am happy to offer a FREE first session to prospective clients, so that you can decide if you feel comfortable with me, and wish to continue.
I can offer both face-to-face or telephone counselling.
I have extensive experience of working with people with issues ranging from bereavement, low self-esteem, depression, abuse, drug & alcohol as well as many other issues and difficulties experienced in life.
I have professional insurance and am an Accredited member of the BACP and work according to their ethics and guidelines.

The first session is free. I charge £45 for a 55 minute session, and offer daytime, evening and Saturday morning appointments. Concessions may be considered.
The first session will be used as an opportunity for both the client and myself to decide if we can work together, so there is no pressure to return.
I am situated in the centre of Dorking Town, just off the High Street, and a short walk from Dorking Main and Deepdene stations.
My counselling room is upstairs, and so may not be suitable for people with some disabilities.
It can be difficult to park in the surrounding roads, but the Wathen Road car park is less than 5 minutes walk from my house.
If you have any questions before requesting an appointment, please do phone or email me and I will get back to you promptly.
