Profile

I tailor therapy uniquely to each person and work collaboratively to reduce anxiety, which may be severely restricting the quality of life. I provide a comfortable peaceful consulting room where I endeavour to understand the world from your perspective. I hope to foster relief and change within the individual. Please view my website for more information. After an initial meeting there is no obligation to commit to futher sessions should you feel it is not right for you.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

PGCE. PgDip Couns. University of Hertfordshire. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and am also listed on the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRC). I provide long term open-ended counselling as well as short solution focused therapy. I have worked with a wide range of clients from the newly bereaved and those injured, to drivers who have caused fatalities in a Road Traffic Crash. I also work as a PCT counsellor through GP referrals. I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches which I integrate where appropriate.

Fees

I use a sliding scale depending on income.

£35 per normal 50 min session.

£40 for initial 60 min assessment

I offer reductions for students.

Further Information

I am easily accessible from surrounding towns and villages, only 2 mins from the A1(M) Junction 9 Letchworth / Baldock. There is free parking and I am also on two bus routes.
