Profile

I have recently returned to Cornwall and am looking to provide creative interventions for wide ranging issues by providing a safe space for individuals to engage in therapeutic work.  I have been fortunate to have worked with people for many years in a variety of roles and am always heartened by the resilience of the human spirit.  I offer day and evening appointments in my own home.  Please contact me to discuss any difficulties you may be experiencing to arrange an initial free introductory session (lasting 30 minutes) to see if I am the right counsellor for you.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am qualified to Master's level, am a fully qualified and registered social worker and hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Diploma in Creative Cognitive Behavioural therapy. I have been a social worker in excess of 16 years and am currently employed as a Palliative Care Social Worker. I am also an associate counsellor for an Employee Assistance Programme and self employed therapist with two other agencies. I am particularly interested in working with unresolved trauma; anxiety and depression.

I am also a counselling supervisor.

Fees

My counselling fee is £40 per hour.

I offer a free initial 30 minute session to ensure counselling is right for you and that I am the right counsellor to meet your needs.

As a counselling supervisor my fee is £40 per hour. My model of supervision encompasses my humanistic, integrative counselling background.

Further Information

I am a member of BACP and abide by their Code of Ethics, including their confidentiality policy. I am aslo an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
