Profile

I currently run a small private practice in Torre, in easy reach of local bus and train routes, in and around Torquay and south Devon. I offer appointments in the evening and occaisionally at the weekend. I have been fortunate to work with individuals and families throughout my life in a variety of settings. I have wide ranging experience of the 'human condition' and value autonomy, diversity and self actualisation in my work.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am qualified to Master's level, am a fully qualified and registered social worker and hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Diploma in Creative Cognitive Behavioural therapy. I have been a social worker in excess of 16 years and am currently employed as a Bereavement Coordinator. I am also an associate counsellor for an Employee Assistance Programme and self employed therapist with two other agencies. I am particularly interested in working with unresolved trauma; anxiety and depression.

I am also a counselling supervisor.

Fees

My counselling fee is £40 per hour.

I offer a free initial 30 minute session to ensure counselling is right for you and that I am the right counsellor to meet your needs.

As a counselling supervisor my fee is £40 per hour. My model of supervision encompasses my humanistic, integrative counselling background.

Further Information

I am a member of BACP and abide by their Code of Ethics, including their confidentiality policy. I am aslo an accredited member of the Counselling Society.
