Counsellor Profile

I currently run a small private practice in Torre, in easy reach of local bus and train routes, in and around Torquay and south Devon. I have been fortunate to work with individuals and families throughout my life in a variety of settings. I have wide ranging experience of the 'human condition' and value autonomy, diversity and self actualisation in my work.

I am qualified to Master's level, am a fully qualified and registered social worker and hold the Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I have been a social worker in excess of 16 years and am currently employed as a Bereavement Coordinator. I am also a casual therapist for an organisation working with bereaved families. I am particularly interested in working with unresolved trauma.

I have recently qualified as a counselling supervisor.

Fees

My counselling fee is £30 per hour.

A lower figure can be negotiated for individuals who are unemployed, however, I am unable to charge less that £20 per hour.

The first half hour meeting to see if counselling is for you is free.

As a counselling supervisor my fee is £40 per hour. My model of supervision encompasses my humanistic, integrative counselling background.
