I am a person-centred counsellor offering confidential one-to-one therapy, either short or long term. I have worked in a variety of settings notably: student counselling through MMU; and Primary Care Counselling working with GP referrals. I currently work privately in the Poynton area. I am also a staff counsellor for social services, addressing work related trauma

I feel that one of the fundamental qualities that counselling must offer is a place of safety based on a relationship of trust and understanding This foundation can allow you to venture into exploring those difficult feelings that have troubled you without judgement or reprisal. My work as a therapist is to enable you to gain greater insight, awareness and clarity into your situation and allow you to move forward in a positive way.
