Counsellor Profile

A Chartered Psychologist - my understanding of human behaviour is informed through wide ranging and extensive experience in counselling for over 17 years. This was built on an earlier career in management development and recruitment in investment banking. I therefore also understand the stresses of a busy life style. As a psychologist, I am what is called an Integrative therapist - this means that I use strategies and techniques from a range of main stream, recognised approaches to my work including CBT and EMDR. I work both short and long term.

Crises, changes, traumas and transitions occur in everyone's life and it can be at these times that we feel we are not able to cope and may want to seek help.

Clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and all walks of life (including professionals, office and shop workers, self-employed, trades people, senior executives in corporate life and housewives) have all found counselling to be an effective way to work through and resolve their issues.

Following an initial assessment, counselling is tailored to individual needs and is conducted in a totally confidential, professional, caring and supportive way in a comfortable and relaxed environment in Croydon and London Bridge.
