Profile

For the last 22 years I have worked within the NHS and in private practice.

My background is in mental health and education.

I work in hospitals and in GP surgeries.

Further, I work for several London bus companies providing all employees a service which includes many areas such as fatalities, general domestic problems, those that spill over in to the workplace. My work includes taking a viewpoint upon whether someone is safe to drive a bus.

I was asked recently to head up a telephone counselling service for a major business in the UK.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am an accredited psychotherapist with British Association of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (BASRT) and am registered with UKCP and registered with BABCP.

I have an MSc in Psychosexual Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy.

MPhil (research) in Post-Tramatic Stress Diisorder (PTSD).

CBT (Post-graduate diploma with distinction) 

Further I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.

I work in the UK and lecture overseas. I am happy to work with with individuals, couples and groups. My current NHS position is a consultancy post within GU medicine within Senior Management.

Fees

Session 1 will be 30 minutes to enable me to get to know you and you to get to know me. The cost for the initial session is £35.

Follow-ups sessions will be 35-50 minutes.
£50-£65 pound per session

I believe that sometimes a session may become "stuck" so, with mutual agreement we might close the session early and add the lost time to further sessions.

I am a registered practitioner with BUPA, WPA, PruHealth, Norwich Union and Standard Life.
