Counsellor Profile
My aim as a counsellor is to provide a place for a you to talk freely
and openly at your own pace.
My role is to listen with empathy, with honesty and without judgment.
As your counsellor I will accompany you on a journey of understanding.
I do not give advice or direction but part of the counselling process may be to try out techniques and strategies
to find what will work specifically for you.

I have had a thorough professional training leading to an
MA in Counselling from the University of East Anglia.
I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work in accordance with their Guidelines for Ethical Practice.
I have worked for St Barnabas Counselling Centre, Norwich, University of East Anglia, Southampton University, Bereavement Support Service Norwich Primary Care Trust, Southampton University, and Barton Peveril Sixth Form College
Prior to my counselling training I had a career in the IT industry. I have also been a volunteer for the Samaritans.

Fees
£35 for a 60 minute session.
Reduced rates for Student Counsellors.
Occassionally other reductions are possible.
