Counsellor Profile

I am a professionally trained psychotherapist/counsellor with a practice in Regent Street, London W1. My approach is based on my view that a therapeutic relationship built on trust and openness enables an exploration of the potential that I believe exists within us all. Through increased self awareness, dialogue, experimenting with new ways of being and creative expression, I work to enable a greater awareness of how a person's way of being in the world might limit the opportunities and choices available to live a satisfying and rewarding life.

I trained in gestalt psychotherapy at the Gestalt Centre London and have completed a Post Graduate Diploma and MA accredited by the London Metropolitan University. In addition to my private practice I work within an agency providing low-cost psychotherapy to NHS referred clients. I have worked as an NHS counsellor in a GP surgery and have experience as a psychotherapist within a psychiatric hospital. I have also worked as a creative director and graphic designer within the advertising industry so have personal experience of the pressures of the commercial and corporate sectors.
I attend supervision and continue to undertake professional development. I have full cover professional indemnity insurance.
