Profile

I am a UKCP registered psychodynamic counsellor practising in central London (easily accessible from Liverpool Street, Moorgate, Old Street and Shoreditch) and London Fields, Hackney, E8 (accessible by bus routes 26, 48, 55, 106, 254, 277 and D6).

I provide a calm, confidential and non-judgmental environment to help explore difficult thoughts and feelings and identify repeated patterns of behaviour which may have a bearing on current difficulties.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (WPF)
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies (University of Roehampton)

The WPF training is accredited by both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

As a full member of the BACP, I am bound by its Code of Ethics and subject to its complaints procedure.

I am also a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) which requires me to undertake continuing professional development in order to maintain and extend my level of competence.

Fees

The fee for the intitial consultation is £60. For ongoing, once-weekly, 50 minute sessions, fees are negotiable. I offer a limited number of places at a reduced fee for those on low incomes.
