Profile

I offer brief or longer term person centred therapy based on building a trusting relationship - you can freely explore thoughts, feelings, life events and relationships. I will encourage the exploration of feelings, whether  grief, fear and confusion or strength, power and love. I work with a strong body awareness, offering opportunities for physical relaxation and breathing exercises and imaginative visualisation for anxiety relief. I have been in practice as a counsellor since 2004 and have BACP accreditation, with a masters degree in 'person centred' therapy. I also work as a counsellor within the NHS and with adults in a 'Sure Start' Childrens Centre and as a counselling trainer and supervisor.

£35 for a one hour session

I work in the summer from a garden room at home or, in colder weather, from a nearby counselling room (with disabled access).
