Acknowledging that you feel you need help in dealing with things is a huge step, going on to find the right Counsellor to work with in helping you, can prove to be even more daunting. It's important to know how your Counsellor is trained and to what level, what experience they have, particularly working in the areas that concern you and  which professional body they are registered with.

I am an Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist working to the BACP Code of Ethics. I offer a confidential and professional one to one Counselling service on either a long or short term basis, dependent upon your needs.
I have over 14 years experience in working with adults and young people in weekly 50 minute sessions. I have particular experience in working with anger management, relationship issues, bereavement, sexual abuse and improving self esteem.

The therapy I offer will help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationship issues and the difficult situations or emotions you may be experiencing. You will become empowered to make the changes you desire in yourself, your life and the way in which you relate to those around you. You will begin to improve the way you manage situations and improve your self esteem, you will also begin to improve the way in which you are perceived by others. Through this work together you can move away from the negative emotions causing your unhappiness and reach fulfillment in your relationships and in your life.

Sometimes we all need support, understanding and a space to help us find our way through life's turmoil, the therapy I offer will provide you with such a space.

My work includes Local Authority Staff Care Schemes and national private health care providers. I have corporate experience and have also been the Head of Counselling in a BACP/WPF Accredited Counselling Service.  I provide clinical supervision to other Counsellors.
