I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and a member of the BACP. I have a great deal of experience in a number of areas, in particular bereavement, addiction, anxiety and relationship difficulties. If you are a carer for someone, I have a lot of personal experience with this and would love to hear from you to see if I can help. This list is not exhaustive so please contact me and we can talk about your concerns and where you would like to be.
I understand from my own personal experiences the life cycle that everyone experiences, and I can help individuals with this.
Finding out if counselling is for you
I offer daytime and evening appointments during the week, and can also accommodate some weekend appointments if that suits you better - just contact me and we can arrange a suitable time for you. We can also talk about any questions that you have and I can explain how I can help in a bit more detail.
I am based in Sanderstead, South Croydon, and have free parking outside my practice. I am also easily reached via bus routes from the town centre and from Sanderstead. My practice room is based on the first floor of the building, but arrangements can be made for individuals with mobility issues so that you can attend your session on the ground floor.
Please call me and leave a message if I cannot answer, I know this can be difficult but I can re-assure you will call you back as soon as possible.
A little about me...
I qualified from Goldsmiths as a counsellor in 2000, and went on to study for my MSc in Human Growth and Development (including Infant Observation).
I am also an animal lover and I believe that a relationship with animals can be important and uplifting.
