I have been a counsellor in private practice, and the NHS, for 12 years, and am also qualified as a psychotherapist and supervisor.
I am familiar with offering both long term counselling and brief therapy, having worked for many years as a counsellor in GP surgeries.
Additionally, I teach on the certificate and diploma courses at Wantage Counselling Service.
Training, qualifications & experience
My original background and training is in social work. I took the post graduate diploma in psychodynamic counselling at Reading University.
I am also skilled in mindfulness and meditation.
I am an accredited member of BACP.
