Counsellor Profile

An experienced and qualified Counsellor -I am a very good listener and I do not judge my clients; my aim is to help and to explore issues with you face to face for short or long term work. I have special interest in people who want general counselling - specifically people with stress, depression, anxiety, bereavement, work place bullying and issues with aggression. I also have special interest in career counselling, outplacement counselling and executive mentoring.

I previously worked in a voluntary counselling centre with people with a wide range of concerns and issues in the above areas.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - BACP, and I adhere to their ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.

    Extra Information

Coming to see someone to talk about highly personal issues or frightening thoughts is not easy, but talking to a trained professional is a good way to begin to ease the anxiety you are experiencing. Having the time just for you, to think about and explore what it is that is making you have unwanted thoughts and/or feelings, we can work together to easing this anxiety.
