Counsellor Profile

I am a qualified professional counsellor working in Topsham, Exeter. I work in an integrative way and have experience at using a wide variety of approaches. I believe in developing a warm and trusting relationship with people so that it can feel safe enough to explore difficult or painful issues. These maybe to do with depression, realtionships or work now or they may go back a long way in the past.

I have a broad experience spread over 15 years and have worked with adults and young people in a variety of community settings. I offer creative ways of working for those who feel comfortable using them. This can be very helpful when words are not enough.

I have particular training and experience in working with those who have experienced childhood abuse.

I am a member and accredited by BACP. This means I am bound by their Code of Ethics and Good Practice and they monitor my work.

I am a friendly outgoing person who is approachable and open minded.
