I passionately believe people can and do heal from child abuse, rape and other trauma.

The long term effects of abuse can colour the world, sometimes tainting everything so much that sometimes it's impossible to see the wood from the trees. I understand this and provide a safe relaxed environment to explore and heal.

You may want to talk about what happened to you. Maybe you would like some help to manage the effects of PTSD, like obsessive and/or compulsive thoughts and behaviours, flashbacks, feeling overwhelmed alcohol or drug adiction or excessive risk taking. Perhaps you would like to understand how your experiences effect your relationships today so you can chose how you respond to others. Or help to recognise your patterns of behaviour so you can work out how to stop making the same mistakes. Sometimes you just need someone who understands your issues and can support you through a difficult stage in your recovery.

I will help you continue your healing journey safely.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have an Advanced Diploma in Integrated Counselling and a Certificate in working with Children and Adolescents.

I have over 15 years experience of working with Survivors of rape, child abuse and child sexual abuse which includes ritualistic abuse and religious abuse. I specialise in working with dissociative disorders particularly DID and have extensive experience of working for crisis help lines and alcohol addiction.
